name s Richard F. Barber, I'm an English Artist living in Hertfordshire England.
Arfter
living in China for the past five years I have
returned to my native country, with a different
cultural interests. I'm a
painter of realism and I'm
offering paintings in oils and acrylics on
canvas, but mainly oils. I will be adding new work, in the form of
boxed canvases to my site
later on this year as it is finished with some possible
watercolours also. I've always tended
to cling to perhaps a vague, idealistic notion that my work is not about monetary gain but
rather living the romance of painting. I wasn't taught that philosophy by any program; it's
been an integral part my identity for as long as I can remember.
All of my work is original and of a high quality and a
variety of subjects, but mainly
Figurative and figurative nude. So
if nudity offends you then please leave the site
as I
have no wish to offend anyone. My artwork is priced by quality, not quantity and
is an
original piece of artwork not a copy, making it an investment that
will only gain
value not like the dollar in your
pocket. it comes in high quality frames or where stated as
a boxed canvas
ready to hang, it will also be carefully packed so that you
receive it in
pristine condition .
